How should I store my products?

We recommend storing your products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Since we don’t use heavy synthetic stabilizers, it’s best to avoid excess heat or humidity. Always use clean hands or a spatula to preserve the integrity of your ritual.

What’s the shelf life of your products?

Our small-batch products are made fresh and preserved with care. For best results, use your product within 6 to 12 months of opening. If it’s water-based (like toners), store it in a cool area and use within 6 months.

Are your products safe for melanin-rich or sensitive skin?

Yes. In fact, that’s who we formulate for first. Our products are intentionally crafted for melanin-rich, sensitive, and acne-prone skin using gentle, plant-based ingredients. We avoid stripping actives, harsh exfoliants, and fragrances that can trigger irritation.

Are your products vegan and cruelty free?

Always. Every formula is 100% plant-based, cruelty-free, and made without animal byproducts. We also avoid parabens, phthalates, synthetic dyes, or artificial fragrances.

Do you use preservatives?

Yes—but only the gentle, skin-safe kind. Water-based products like toners and gel cleansers contain natural preservatives to protect your skin and the product’s shelf life. Oil-based products like body butters or serums do not require preservatives but should be stored properly.

How long will it take to receive my order?

We ship within 3–5 business days of your order, as each ritual is freshly prepared and packed with care. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your glow is on the way. If we're in the middle of a restock or holiday season, a small delay may occur—but we’ll always communicate with you.

Do you offer international shipping?

What’s your return policy?

Due to the handmade nature of our products, we cannot accept returns. That said, your satisfaction is sacred. If something isn’t right, email us at rnae@theskinsapothecary.com and we’ll do everything we can to make it right.

Do you offer wholesale or Bulk shipping?
